Backup time changed from 30 minutes to 2 hours when changing map.

The expert settings are for incremental backups. The backups in which you restore are automated which can not be changed. You might be able to submit a ticket to Nitrado Support and ask for your options or if they can change that. ATLAS Server constant problems - Always crashes after official update

Hello, Sorry you are having issues. Updates are automatic and pushed. You shouldnt have to be doing a restore after each update. My Atlas servers have been fine. Sometimes when a patch is release, its a bit until it updates but I am ok with that. Also, you do have access to your files. On the WebUI it provides the FTP info so you may download them. so if you grab your files via FTP, and grab your json, you have the full backup. Miscreated cant connect to server

I see it, and it appears up and steam thinks it is up. Can anyone else connect? if yes, then its your client side. Do a steam verify. If no one can connect, was their an update today? if so, versions of server and client need to match. You may need to submit a ticket to Nitrado Support for assistance if you are still having the issue.

[PS4] Losing characters upon transfer

When uploading and downloading it wouldnt be hardware issues. It is either the configuration you are using or an ARK game issue. Btw- this is rather common. The best fix as ARK/WC will suggest and Nitrado is after an update if this happens, you need to rollback to the latest save. The WebUI should also state this.

Use the query port when adding to steam. ie: say port is 00000, use port 00001. Should be on your webUI page.

atlas mods not working

Yes, Nitrado is working on their interface. It IS a combination of both sides fyi. I've personally already spoke with some modders, and already aware other hosts do have issues as well. Please do not give out false information or point fingers. As mentioned, this game is EA. Everything will take time to implemented. As suggested, create a ticket with Nitrado Support. Nothing Forum Moderators can do about this topic. Thank you.

Some settings wont change

You can not go back and forth between the normal mode and expert. You have to decide on one or the other. As you are finding out, your settings are reverting or changing. Pick one way, and stick with that. Also server must be shutdown for the settings you add/change.

atlas mods not working

Atlas is still in EA and many modders are fully aware many issues exist with mods. You are doing them at your own risk. If those instructions are not working, you may create a ticket with Nitrado Support and see what they will recommend.

Make sure you have your server shutdown for at least 5m. Recommendation: 10m. Make your changes, save, then restart. Thank you.

Those instructions are out of date or no longer apply. They might for 'non public mods' aka private. Here is how to "Install" them: How to add mods in step one. If the mod already available at steam (Steam Community :: ATLAS 1) you have to download the current cluster config and change “ModIDs”:"" to a comma separated list of mods for example “ModIDs”:“1612345678,16212345678” and then reupload the file. Switching to a different map with the ability to go back.

PC or Console? If PC, your options greatly increase. With PC you can visit the Wiki and do the manual backup process. Once that is completed (being server should be shutdown). Delete the profiles and tribe files if you want to force people to start a new character. Start back up server, then change map.
